Linda Brown and Vana Kirby Graduate Scholarship

Established by Dr. Sandra Kirby, in honour of her sisters, Linda Brown and Vana Kirby. This scholarship will be awarded to a student or students enrolled in Graduate Studies at the University of Winnipeg. Preference may be given to graduate students with a disability.

"I am very grateful to receive the Lana Brown and Vana Kirby Graduate Scholarship. I would not be able to receive this scholarship without the support of my family, friends, my colleagues and faculty members at the Arthur V. Mauro Institute for Peace & Justice and Menno Simons College, particularly my advisor Dr. Adam Muller. This scholarship has significantly lightened my financial burden, especially during COVID-19, so I can focus on my learning, research, and community involvement."
