Advising services for students have been enhanced by "Student Planning." This specialized online tool is designed to support students’ planning and decision making with respect to their university experience. It is now central to the Academic and Program Advisor practice when meeting or otherwise in contact with students who have come for assistance.
Although each student and situation is unique, Advisors may want to incorporate the Advisor Template below into appointments and drop-in sessions with students. As well, here are some guidelines and tips for conducting Online Reviews and writing Notes in Student Planning.
